The Fountain of Grace Foundation, a US-based NGO, has made a generous donation to support healthcare delivery at the Tafo Government Hospital in Kumasi.
The donation includes Autoclave machines to fight bacteria, viruses and fungi at the hospital.
The donation is aimed at enhancing the capacity of Tafo Hospital to deliver high-quality healthcare services to the community.
Hospital manager, Odette Anaba highlighted the challenges the hospital is currently facing with its autoclave machines.
She noted there is only one machine available for the entire facility, but there is a significant need for additional units to adequately meet the hospital’s demands.
“The machines donated will effectively reduce the workload in the theatre and wards, ensuring smooth operations and better care,” she said.
Founder and leader of the Fountain of Grace Foundation, Peter Okyere Kontor, emphasizes the donation reflects the NGO’s commitment to supporting the community during challenging times.
“Their commitment to enhancing the standards of working conditions by supplying essential resources to hospitals, schools, and other facilities,” he said.
