The Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Digital Addressing System, Nana Osei Afrifa, has supported the NPP’s campaigning in four indigent constituencies in Ashanti region with ¢200,000 and other materials.
He says the financial aid is to facilitate the ruling party’s quest to ‘break the 8’ in the 2024 election.
The four constituencies include Ejisu, Juabeng, Asante Akyem North and Asante Akyem South, with each constituency receiving ¢50,000, party T-shirts and security bulbs.
Nana Afrifa partnered the NPP Financial Secretary for Madina Constituency, Nana Francis Otchere, to assist the constituencies to beef up campaign to win the December polls.
“President Akufo-Addo didn’t know me but he gain trust in me to award me the Ghana Digital Addressing System construct which has positively gain results in Ghana. So I don’t have nothing to do than to support some constituencies to help Dr. Bawumia break the eight to continue the developmental projects,” he said.
The NPP parliamentary candidate for Asante Akyem North, Andy Appiah Kubi expressed his gratitude and promise to work with the resources to garner votes for the party.
“I am targeting 75% vote for NPP in the Asante Akyem North in the December polls. This resource will help us reach out to more people in the Constituency to deliver our camping massage,” he said.
Kwaku Asante Boateng, NPP parliamentary candidate for Asante Akyem South after receiving the donation, charge the party executives to beef up their campaign to help Dr. Bawumia win the December polls.
“Ghana is in the path of development which we need to break the eight for more developmental projects,” he stated.
The Juabeng NPP parliamentary candidate, Francis Owusu Akyaw, said the support has come at the right time which will help their campaign.
“We are on door-to-door campaign and these items will help us a lot especially in the rural communities,” he said.
In the Ejisu Constitiency, NPP candidate, Kwabena Boateng, promised winning the constituency with 85% in the December polls.
