Vice President and Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has affirmed his commitment to addressing the concerns of Ghana’s youth, highlighting his years of active engagement with them.

Speaking at a youth-focused event in Accra on Sunday, Dr. Bawumia expressed that his interactions with young Ghanaians have been a source of inspiration and motivation, pledging to prioritize their needs as he aspires to lead the nation.

“Through my Youth Connect initiative and various forums across Ghana, I have spent this year connecting with the youth, listening to your fears, hopes, and ambitions,” Dr. Bawumia stated.

“I am truly inspired by the innovation and resilience of Ghana’s youth. When I tell you that your aspirations are my priority, I mean it wholeheartedly.”

Dr. Bawumia emphasized his ongoing dedication to Ghana’s youth, saying, “From the beginning, I have made it my mission to ensure the prosperity and success of Ghana’s young people.”

“With your support, I intend to govern with integrity and with Almighty God as my guide. I envision a nation that is food self-sufficient, data-driven, and a full participant in the global digital age. My commitment is to build a Ghana where young people can thrive with quality jobs, fair pay, and macroeconomic stability.”

He acknowledged the remarkable talents of young Ghanaians across fields like technology, entrepreneurship, the arts, and sports, adding, “Our youth have boundless talent. By harnessing it, we will build a powerful, prosperous nation. I invite you—especially Generation Z—to join me on this journey of limitless possibilities.”

Dr. Bawumia assured Ghana’s youth that his administration, if given the mandate, would prioritize inclusivity by addressing their specific needs.

“If I am elected as your President, I promise to bring young people into the heart of the political process. Your voices will shape our policies and guide our nation forward.”
