Mahama vows to resist ballot stuffing, intimidation in December polls

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, has voiced serious concerns about the credibility of Ghana’s electoral process ahead of the December polls.

He cited intimidation tactics against party agents monitoring ballot printing as a key issue.

Mahama urged NDC members and supporters to stay vigilant and actively participate in efforts to secure the integrity of their votes.

He underscored that the NDC will not tolerate any attempts at ballot stuffing or harassment of their representatives, warning that such acts will be firmly resisted.

In his remarks, Mahama shared his unease with certain electoral stakeholders, pointing to past incidents that have fueled the party’s growing distrust.

He called on voters to rally behind the NDC’s goal of safeguarding a fair process, reiterating his stance that every vote must be protected.
