A young schoolgirl who had been missing for almost a week has been found abandoned on the streets of Kasoa.
Blessing Osei Manu was last seen on Saturday, October 26, near the Kasoa overhead while running errands.
After she failed to return home, an extensive search led by her family, police, and concerned community members was launched.
The young girl was discovered by a passerby early Thursday morning, lying on the roadside in Kasoa.
The good Samaritan, noticing her frail and disoriented state, quickly alerted the family, who identified her as their missing daughter.
According to her family, Blessing was held against her will and possibly forced into labor before being released.
They suspect that the recent media coverage of her disappearance may have pressured those involved to let her go.
Blessing is currently undergoing medical evaluations as police begin their investigation.
