Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has pledged significant support for vegetable growers in Berekum West, outlining plans to revive the struggling sector.
During his retail campaign tour of the Bono region, Asiedu Nketiah assured farmers that an NDC-led government would prioritize agriculture.
He highlighted a series of policies aimed at enhancing farmers’ livelihoods, boosting productivity, and improving market access to create sustainable growth within the agricultural sector.
Positioning itself as the party of choice for farmers, the NDC is actively seeking support from Berekum West’s agricultural community ahead of the upcoming elections.
Asiedu Nketiah emphasized that the NDC’s focus on agriculture reflects a broader commitment to addressing farmers’ welfare and economic empowerment.
In his appeal, Asiedu Nketiah encouraged voters to endorse the NDC’s parliamentary candidate for Berekum West, Dickson Kwabena Kyere Duah, and former President John Mahama as the next president.
The promises form part of the NDC’s larger campaign to rally support among Ghana’s farmers by emphasizing an agenda of agricultural growth and revitalization.
