Legon Cities FC head coach Paa Kwesi Fabin has urged the club’s fans to maintain their support during this challenging period.
Currently, the Royals find themselves in the relegation zone of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League.
In their recent Matchday 8 fixture, Legon Cities played to a goalless draw against Accra Lions at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium.
In a post-match interview, Coach Fabin emphasized the youthful nature of his squad and the time required for them to develop. He called for patience from supporters as the team navigates these difficulties.
“Many of our players come from the lower leagues, so they need guidance and time to bond,” he explained. “The boys are playing well, but we are struggling to convert chances, which is crucial.”
He reassured fans, stating, “We ask for your patience; we have a young team, and once they find their rhythm, they will excel.”
Currently, Legon Cities have only two points after seven matches, with one game against Asante Kotoko pending, set to take place on Wednesday.
