Nadia Buari reveals truth behind kissing scenes

-

Ghanaian actress Nadia Buari has revealed that kissing scenes aren’t real, but just make-believe to create authentic romantic situations.

In a recent interview with TV3, the Beyoncé actress explained that actors aim to make these scenes convincing for the audience, stressing that no genuine emotions are involved.

Nadia distinguished between the on-screen characters’ emotions and the actors’, stating that the scenes are crafted solely for the characters’ storyline, not reflecting the actors’ personal feelings.

“They are not real. It is make-believe. However, we are trying to convince people, so we were really kissing, but it is just that it is real for the characters, not for the actors. There are no feelings involved,” she stated.

According to her, actors must separate emotions from kissing scenes, which are typically filmed in front of numerous crew members. (Read also: Not everybody will appreciate the good in you—Nadia Buari, East Legon accident: It’s too painful to forgive, says Nadia Buari)
