Nkwanta South: NPP Loyal Ladies praise Bawumia’s DRIP initiative

-

The NPP Loyal Ladies in Nkwanta South, Oti Region, have commended Vice President and presidential candidate Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for his instrumental role in launching the District Road Improvement Project (DRIP).

This initiative aims to revitalize the Municipality’s deteriorated road network, especially the long-overlooked Kpassa-Nkwanta road on the Eastern Corridor.

According to the Loyal Ladies, DRIP has provided critical equipment and resources, marking a major step towards improving transportation infrastructure and fostering accountability for residents.

Fuseini Ayishatu, leader of the group, expressed gratitude in an interview with Adom News, calling the project a “game-changer” for local communities.

“This initiative is a lifeline for Nkwanta South. The new equipment and road improvements will alleviate challenges we’ve endured for years due to poor roads, which have held back development,” Ayishatu said.

She said DRIP not only promises a better quality of life for residents but will also drive economic growth by making it easier to transport goods and access services.

Other members of Loyal Ladies emphasized the importance of solid infrastructure for community growth, noting that better roads would improve access to healthcare, education, and markets, raising the standard of living in the municipality.

They urged residents to support the initiative by voting for Dr. Bawumia as President and Hajia Tijani Sherifa Sekyere, the NPP parliamentary candidate for Nkwanta South, in the upcoming elections to ensure continued development in the region.
