Member of Parliament for Jomoro Constituency in the Western Region, Dorcas Affo-Toffey, has expressed her readiness to actively campaign and garner votes for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) on December 7.
The MP who is recovering from an accident has admitted she has not fully recovered.
However, she is poised to embark a “retail campaign” to mobilise the people to massively retain her seat and secure the victory of the NDC President Candidate John Mahama.
Madam Affo-Toffey made the pledge in an interview with Accra-based Onua FM when she was given a rousing welcome at the Kotoka International Airport(KIA) by jubilant NDC supporters, MPs and chiefs while returning from US after medical treatment.
“I am not fully fit but seeing this crowd means that it is time to resume my campaign to sell the policies of the NDC to the people. The accident will not stop me and I am ready to work for the people and my party,” she stated.
Madam Affo-Toffey extended her profound gratitude to all and sundry for their prayers and support after her accident in August 2024.
