The flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has once again expressed confidence in his ability to emerge victorious in the upcoming elections.
He stated emphatically that, “I will be crowned winner before the Electoral Commission even makes its official declaration.”
He made these remarks during a community engagement in the Anlo constituency of the Volta Region to end his tour of the area.
According to Dr. Bawumia, his campaign tour of over 200 constituencies out of the 275 has given him with sufficient data to conclude that the NPP is cruising to victory.
“The NDC is fully aware of that. There is no doubt that by the time the NPP completes its collation by midnight of December 7, I will emerge victorious.”
Dr. Bawumia also questioned the opposition National Democratic Congress’ (NDC) credibility.
“Why would the NDC, who failed to perform in every sector of the economy, walk with their heads held high, believing the Ghanaian people will allow them to come to power again?” he quizzed.
Dr. Bawumia added that “the NDC is an empty alternative and shouldn’t be allowed near the reins of power.”
