Ghanaian defender, Abdul Rashid Adam has commenced trials with Premier League club West Ham United.
The talented left back is set to spend the upcoming weeks in London with the Hammers’ youth team to gain valuable experience.
West Ham’s Technical Director, Tim Steidten, approved the move as Adam has already been training with the club’s U18 squad.
Currently playing for Benab FC in Ghana’s Division 2, the 18-year-old is considered a rising star and has represented Ghana’s U20 team, the Black Satellites.
Adam’s versatility allows him to play both left back and left centre back.
He aims to follow in the footsteps of fellow Ghanaian Joseph Anang, who secured a spot at West Ham after a successful trial.
