Personnel of the Ghana Police Service are on a hunt for seven(7) suspected armed robbers who attacked some residents of Konongo in the Ashanti Region and made away with huge sums of money.
The suspects fled from the scene after being hinted that the Police were heading to the scene of crime, also abandoned their green Toyota Hilux Pickup with registration number GT 6511 – 11.
Luck however eluded one of the suspects identified as Amid Tahiru who with help of community members, was disarmed arrested and handed over to the Police according to MyNewsGh report.
It is gathered that, 40-year-old Amid Tahiru and his accomplices currently on the run attacked some residents of Konongo Low Cost and robbed them of GH¢130, 000.00 after locking one of the victims in a room.
