Former Member of Parliament for Gomoa Central, Rachel Appoh has charged the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to be firm on its candidate for the December 7 elections.
According to her, the NDC can have only one candidate for the election and thus, Kwame Deen Yawson.
In this regard, the former Deputy Gender Minister said reports suggesting that the NDC supports independent candidate, Kwame Obeng Asare popularly known as A Plus is worrying.
Madam Appoh made the call during a campaign in the constituency along with some party executives.
She urged the constituents to unite and support Mr Yaw to ensure their victory both in the parliamentary and presidential election.
“We believe in the NDC; we believe in President Mahama, we believe in Kwame Deen Yawson,” she stated.
