A group calling itself Friends of Obour in the Asante Akyem South constituency have donated two branded pickups and cash to support the 2024 election campaign of the New Patriotic Party(NPP) presidential candidate, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia and Member of Parliament, Kwaku Asante Boateng.
Speaking to Adom News, the leader of the group, Odemkyemmireku Kwaku Ananse, said it is its own way of pushing for the NPP’s victory on December 7.
According to him, Dr. Bawumia and Mr Boateng are highly tipped to emerge victorious, and with campaign activities intensifying, they had to support in every way possible.
Meanwhile, Mr Boateng has promised to use his influence, together with the constituency executives and MCE to support and ensure a decisive victory for their party in the upcoming general election.
Simon Agyemang, the NPP constituency Youth Organiser charged the youth to unite and support Dr Bawumia and Mr Boateng to succeed in the election.
