Former New Patriotic Party (NPP) Chairman, Freddie Blay has said the party is poised to win the 2024 parliamentary and presidential elections.
According to him, the NPP will sweep the majority of parliamentary seats, particularly in the Western region because their performance has been impressive.
“There are a few seats that will not fall for the NPP but majority of them will fall,” he stated.
As a former Ellembelle MP, Mr Blay on Asempa FM Ekosii Sen programme Friday, cited the NPP will win back the Jomoro, Ellembelle and Evalue-Gwira seats which are currently being held by the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
He acknowledged that there have been a few problems that have accounted for the NPP’s loss of these seats, specifically Ellembelle.
“However, I believe that this year, our fortunes will change and we will win the seat. We are working hard and we will win for sure against anybody the NDC will put up. For now, we have no seat in the Nzema enclave but this time around, it will change” he stated.
