I have not settled well at Leicester City – Jordan Ayew

-

Ghana striker, Jordan Ayew has admitted he is still adjusting to life at Leicester City following his transfer this summer.

The 33-year-old signed a two-year contract with the Foxes after leaving fellow Premier League club Crystal Palace, reuniting with fellow Ghanaian, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku.

Ayew revealed that, he is yet to find a permanent place to live in Leicester after relocating from London, which has limited his time to connect with Issahaku off the field.

“I haven’t, actually. I am still busy looking for my house, I haven’t gotten a house as yet, so I have been very busy sorting out a number of things,” Ayew said during an interview with Showmax.

“I haven’t settled properly as yet, and so I haven’t had time to spend with Abdul off the field. He has an apartment in Leicester, I let him do his thing. Once I am all settled I will have much more time on my hands and we can spend it together,” he added.

So far, Jordan Ayew has played in eight matches for Leicester City, while Fatawu Issahaku has made nine appearances. Ayew will be hoping to be part of the squad when Leicester City takes on Southampton at St. Mary’s Stadium on Saturday.
