A manhunt is underway for a suspect caught on video brandishing a weapon during violent clashes between supporters of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) at Mamobi in Accra.
The suspect, identified by the alias “Fatau Motorway,” is wanted in connection with the NPP-NDC confrontation which occurred on Sunday during a routine political campaign walk.
Police has released his image and are urging the public to provide credible information that could lead to his capture.
Authorities have emphasized that an intelligence-driven operation is in progress to apprehend Fatau Motorway and others involved in the violence.
The Police Service is calling on citizens to cooperate in this effort to bring the perpetrators to justice and maintain peace.
