The Electoral Commission (EC) will commence the online re-exhibition of the Provisional Voter’s Register (PVR) on October 15 and end on 19, 2024.
The decision follows the Inter-Party Advisory Committee (IPAC) meeting held on October 1, 2024.
In a statement, the electoral body said the exercise is part of its commitment to ensuring a transparent and accurate voter register ahead of the upcoming elections.
In the EC’s quest to make the process accessible and convenient, eligible voters can verify their registration details by dialing *711*51# or visiting the commission’s official website.
The statement has further advised the public to report any discrepancies or errors found in their registration details to their respective District Offices for correction.
The EC assured the public that prompt action would be taken to address any issues that may arise during the re-exhibition period.
The EC has also encouraged the active participation of all political parties by using the template provided to them.
Parties are expected to report any discrepancies they identify during the re-exhibition exercise, helping to ensure a comprehensive and transparent verification process.
