Samira Bawumia, wife of the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) presidential candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has likened her husband to a driver’s mate analogy to gaining invaluable experience from his master and is now ready to take the wheel.
Speaking in Kodie, located in the Afigya Kwabre South District of the Ashanti Region, during her one-week tour focusing on Zongo communities, she emphasized her husband’s qualifications for the Presidency.
Samira Bawumia highlighted that her husband has surpassed previous Vice Presidents in terms of achievements and deserves the chance to lead the nation.
“Bawumia and the NPP have ambitious plans for Ghana. He will build upon and enhance all the significant initiatives of President Akufo-Addo. Therefore, I urge you to hand him the steering wheel on December 7.
“Having served as a ‘mate’ and learned from his experiences, he is now prepared to lead. Vote for him to bring about the transformation we need. We’ve had several vice presidents in this country, but Bawumia stands out, especially with his innovative digital solutions,” she stated.
