Francis Abu and Jonas Adjei Adjetey are set to join the Black Stars camp on Wednesday ahead of their upcoming Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers against Sudan.
The duo received late call-ups on Monday night, as announced by the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
Currently, 23 players are in camp. The team kicked off their preparations on Monday with 11 players, holding their first training session at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Twelve more players have since joined, including Lawrence Ati Zigi, Inaki Williams, Alexander Djiku, Abdul Mumin, Ernest Nuamah, Majeed Ashimeru, Alidu Seidu, Ibrahim Sulemana, Tariq Lamptey, Ibrahim Sadick, Michael Baidoo, and Jerome Opoku.
The squad will hold their second training session tonight as they continue preparations for the crucial doubleheader against Sudan in the 2025 AFCON qualifiers.
The Black Stars are looking to bounce back in their qualifying campaign after a 1-0 loss to Angola and a 1-1 draw with Niger.
The first match will take place on Thursday, October 10, at the Accra Sports Stadium, with the return leg scheduled for October 14 at the Martyrs of February Stadium in Libya.
