Ghanaian musician, Mzbel bid a tearful farewell to her beloved mother, Madam Charlotte Asi Ocansey, over the weekend.
Known affectionately as “Shai-Shai” or “Mummy 1,” the late Madam Ocansey passed away in July 2024.
The funeral service took place on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at the Grace Presbyterian Church in Babayara-Madina, with family, friends, and well-wishers gathering to pay their final respects.
In a somber atmosphere, Mzbel and her family were surrounded by support from various quarters as they laid Madam Ocansey to rest.
A Thanksgiving service was held on October 6, at the same church.
Mzbel’s fans and colleagues in the entertainment industry expressed their condolences and shared in her grief during this difficult time.
