Ascension Trust UK partners TAC-GH to screen 8,000 people

The church is gradually moving from the old ways of winning souls through crusading and evangelism to a more diversified approach .

As part of a new soul winning strategy, Ascension Trust UK has partnered with The Apostolic Church Ghana (TAC-GH) is set to offer a free health screening for about 8000 people in Accra.

Over 3,000 kayayei have so far benefitted from the  medical examination alongside a gospel outreach.

The exercise took place on Friday, October 4th, 2024, at Ashaley Botwe School park.


It was an all inclusive free health screening during which the patrons also benefited from a free NHIS registration.

The team will continue to Fadama and Dodowa this week with the free health screening.

The Vice Chair of Ascension Trust UK, Chi- Chi Eckhator said the patrons were screened for skin infections, diabetes, hypertension among others.

In an interview with Adom News, Pastor William Eni- Agyei , Programmes Coordinator at TAC-GH, said that the target is to screen about 8,000 people and share the gospel of Jesus Christ with over 10,000 people.
