Election 2024: We will establish Women’s Development Bank – Abigail Elorm Mensah

-

Deputy National Women’s Organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Abigail Elorm Mensah, has urged women across the country to vote massively for the party in the upcoming December 7th elections.

She emphasized that the NDC’s policies under John Dramani Mahama’s leadership will greatly benefit women, promising significant improvements in their economic well-being.

Speaking during her tour of the Ahafo Region, Elorm Mensah outlined one of the NDC’s flagship policies—the establishment of a Women’s Development Bank (WDB).

She explained to Adom News that the bank would provide financial support to women already in business as well as those looking to start new ventures.

This, she noted, would help boost the economic standing of women nationwide and uplift their standard of living.

Elorm Mensah encouraged women to spread the message within their communities, ensuring they turn out in large numbers on election day to support Mahama’s bid for the presidency.

The Ahafo Regional Women’s Organizer for the NDC, Charity Gardiner, expressed appreciation for the national executives’ efforts in visiting remote communities.

She told Adom News that these visits have been instrumental in helping residents understand the party’s key policies.

Madam Gardiner believes this grassroots engagement will play a crucial role in securing victory for the NDC in December.

With both national and regional NDC leaders emphasizing their focus on women’s development, the party is confident of winning significant support from women in the upcoming elections.
