Ex-police commissioner Fosu-Agyeman releases first gospel song

Retired Commissioner of Police (COP) Fosu Agyeman, a distinguished figure in Ghana’s police service, has ventured into the music industry after a long and successful career in law enforcement.

COP Fosu Agyeman, who began his service as a Police Constable, steadily rose through the ranks to attain the position of Commissioner of Police (COP).

During his tenure, he held various high-profile roles, including Deputy Regional Police Commander for the Northern Region, Regional Police Commander for the Western Region, and Director General of the Motor Traffic and Transport Department (MTTD) at the Police Headquarters in Accra.

Beyond his policing duties, COP Fosu Agyeman nurtured a passion for music from his youth.

As a chorister, he sang with the Ghana Police Dance Band and performed with regional police bands in Ashanti, Western, and Northern Regions during official police events.

In addition, he has been known to perform solo pieces during church services.

In November 2023, COP Fosu Agyeman composed and released his first gospel song, marking the beginning of his professional music career.

His single, W’adom, is now available across all social media platforms under the name COP Fosu Agyeman Music.

The music career of COP Fosu Agyeman is managed by Mr. Kyei Baffour, the CEO of B Kay Art Design. Mr. Baffour also oversees the IT services related to the music, ensuring smooth operations and online presence for COP Fosu Agyeman’s work.

With his unique background and experience, COP Fosu Agyeman is set to make his mark in the gospel music scene while continuing to inspire through both his law enforcement legacy and his music.
