2024 election: You’ve nothing left at Jubilee House – Wontumi to Mahama

-

The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Bernard Antwi Boasiako popularly known as Wontumi has said the flagbearer of the NDC, John Mahama is only desperate to return to the Presidency to cancel the Free Senior High School(SHS) Programme.

Chairman Wontumi was speaking at the climax of the mammoth Big Walk, which was organised by the Bantama Constituency to energize the party’s base in the Ashanti Region.

According to him, the NPP under President John Agyekum Kufuor started the free maternal healthcare which benefitted all Ghanaian women.

Ghanaians however fell for the lies of the NDC and voted for them.

He said for eight years under late former President Mills and Mahama, the NDC discontinued the policy.

This he asserted is the same motive with which Mr Mahama is coming into the 2024 election with.

The Minister for Finance, Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam assured the people of the Ashanti Region that the Northern Region is fully prepared to partner them in delivering massive victory for the NPP.

He announced that Ghana’s economy has bounced back and very soon Ghanaians will start feeling the impact.

The Minister for Fisheries and Aquaculture Development, Mavis Hawa Koomson, lauded the Bantama Constituency for organising the walk.

She charged the people to go out and campaign massively to ensure victory for the party.
