A fire outbreak has destroyed properties at the Obuasi Pomposo Roman Catholic primary B school in the Obuasi East district of Ashanti Region.
Properties running into thousands of cedis were burnt in the incident which occurred on Wednesday.
The cause of the devastating situation is yet to be established.
Speaking to Adom News, the headmistress, Regina Okancy said she had a call from the JHS headmaster.
Upon arrival, their fridges, textbooks donated by Otumfuo Osei Tutu II Foundation, computers, laptops, printers, TV sets among others were all destroyed.
She appealed to the government, NGOs and other benevolent organizations to come to the aid.
Madam Okancy said they are in dire need of teaching and learning materials.
