2025 AFCONQ: CAF sets new dates for Ghana v Sudan doubleheader

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has rescheduled the game between Ghana and Sudan, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has announced.

The matchday three and four games of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers will now take place on Thursday, October 10, and Tuesday, October 15, 2024, instead of the original dates, October 11 and 14, 2024.

The Black Stars who are chasing to record their first win of the qualifiers will host the Falcons in the first leg at the Accra Sports Stadium on October 10, while the return leg will be played at Benina, Libya, on October 15, 2024.

Ghana kicked off their qualifiers with a 1-0 defeat against Angola and a 1-1 draw against Niger.

The Black Stars currently sit 3rd in Group F with just a point.

Meanwhile, Otto Addo has announced a 25-man squad for the doubleheader.
