2024 election: Owusu-Bempah’s prophecy out of anger; not from God – Kate Gyamfuah

National Women’s Organiser of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kate Gyamfuah has downplayed the prophecy of the General Overseer of Glorious Word Power Ministries International, Reverend Isaac Owusu Bempah ahead of the 2024 election.

On Tuesday, the renowned man of God believed to be affiliated with the NPP prophesied that former President John Mahama would win the 2024 election.

At a fellowship between the former and the clergy, Rev Owusu Bempah said the prophecy is a spiritual arrangement that will manifest physically.

This has however sparked controversy in the political space with barely 60 days to the December 7 election.

Reacting to this, Madam Gyamfuah stated that the prophecy is not from God.

In an interview on Accra-based Okay FM, she asserted that the prophecy was more of anger-induced than divination from God.

She indicated that the man of God’s declaration is probably as a result of the fallout with the NPP, given his loyalty, prayers and sacrifices.

“I know him; I know the pain, the prayers, and the fasting he has taken us through. He has worked a lot for the NPP, so he is not happy with what happened, as well as some people going on radio to attack him.

“So, I firmly believe that it was anger; it was an anger-induced prophecy and not a prophecy from within him or having been told by God. I won’t disrespect him, but that is what my soul tells me,” she stated.
