The Founder and Leader of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP), Madam Akua Donkor, has expressed her frustration with the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) over what she views as excessive scrutiny of the Electoral Commission (EC).
According to the Presidential Candidate, the NDC’s actions appear to be aimed at causing unrest and undermining the EC’s credibility in the eyes of the public.
Akua Donkor made these remarks during the Inter-Party Advisory Committee (IPAC) meeting on Monday, October 1.
She praised the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for its supportive approach toward the EC’s efforts and encouraged the NDC to adopt a similar stance.
She further stated that the EC Chairperson is divinely appointed, adding that any attempts to oppose her will ultimately fail.
