How do you explain your actions to your kids? Miracles Aboagye slams Barker-Vormawor

-

The Director of Communications for the Bawumia Campaign Team, Dennis Miracle Aboagye, has criticised Oliver Barker-Vormawor for removing a key from a Police van during the Democracy Hub protest.

Mr Aboagye has bemoaned what Barker-Vormawor’s justification will be if his kids should ask about his actions.

In an interview on Asempa FM Ekosii Sen programme Monday, Mr Aboagye acknowledged the rights of citizens to demonstrate.

“What the people did was a complete misbehaviour. There have been series of demonstration but we did not witness such lawlessness.

“Didi you see Oliver sheepishly enter a police vehicle to remove the key. See how he was running; a grown up man like him. So if your children see this on TV, how do you explain your actions to them?” he quizzed.

However, he emphasised that, protesters cannot flout laid-down procedures and hold other citizens to ransom.

He asserted that, Ghanaians live in a jungle if protesters will chart the course of the Democracy Hub.

The Constitutional Rights and Policy Advisor of Democracy Hub was captured in a viral video turning off the engine of a police van, taking the key and running away with them.

The incident occurred during a scuffle between protesters and the Police on Sunday, September 22, the second day of a three-day #ReOccupyJulorbiHouse and #StopGalamseyNow demonstration.

His actions have attracted widespread condemnation.

However, Noah Adamptey, a member of the legal team for the pressure group has justified that Oliver acted after the Police attempted to tow the vehicle which contained the food of the protesters.
