David Asamoah takes over from Dubik Mahama as acting ECG MD

David Asamoah has been appointed as the Acting Managing Director of the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) following the resignation of Samuel Dubik Mahama on Wednesday, September 25.

Prior to this appointment, Asamoah served as the Deputy Managing Director in charge of Commercial Services at ECG.

His role as Acting Managing Director is temporary, pending further decisions from the Government of Ghana, which is the sole shareholder of ECG.

The appointment was announced by Alexander Afenyo Markin, the Board Chairman of ECG.
