General Manager of Nsoatreman FC, Eric Alagidede says they have picked positives from their participation in the CAF Confederation Cup.
The Ghana FA Cup champions suffered an elimination in their maiden participation against Algerian side, CS Constantine in the second round of the preliminary round of games.
The Nsoatreman FC suffered a 2-0 at the Accra Sports Stadium in the first leg before suffering a 1-0 defeat in the return leg in Algers at the Stade Mohamed-Hamlaoui.
Despite their early elimination, Alagidede said their participation was a learning curve for the playing body.
According to him, they will compete well in the domestic league to ensure they return to Africa again.
“It was a learning curve for us. We will compete in the domestic league and ensure we defend our FA Cup title and compete well in the Ghana Premier League,” he told Asempa FM‘s Ultimate Sports Show.
Nsoatreman FC will now turn their attention to competing in the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League and will hope to defend their FA Cup title.
Yaw Preko and his side will take on Accra Lions in the Matchday four games of the Premier League on Saturday at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium.
