The Ghana Police Service has announced that all roads previously blocked as part of its special operations in Accra have now been reopened.
The reopening occurred at 6 PM on September 23, 2024.
The police had initially closed roads from September 21 to 24 as part of their operations to ensure security and law enforcement ahead of the Democracy Hub protest.
Key areas affected included the stretch between the AU Roundabout and the 37 Roundabout.
Officers from the Motor Traffic and Transport Department (MTTD) were deployed to manage traffic and assist motorists during the period.
The Police expressed their gratitude to the public for their patience and cooperation throughout the exercise.
The service assured that they remain committed to maintaining security, law, and order in the country.
