Member of the renowned gospel group Team Eternity, Nhyira Marfo Okyere, has been laid to rest in a somber ceremony over the weekend.

The final funeral rites were held on Saturday, September 15, 2024, which began with a touching laying-in-state ceremony at her family home.

The service took place at the God’s Tabernacle of Praise Church in Madina Firestone, a fitting venue for a woman whose voice and spirit had touched so many lives.

The church was filled with mourners who came to celebrate Nhyira’s life and legacy.

Despite the profound grief, Team Eternity’s members attended the service to offer their condolences.

They were, however, unable to perform as initially planned.

The burial was followed by a Thanksgiving service on Sunday, where heartfelt tributes were paid to Nhyira’s memory.

Nhyira, who was only 31 years old, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 7, 2024.

The cause of her death remains unascertained,
