A 42-year-old woman from Obuasi has been in tears over what she terms “emotional wickedness” as her husband has been denying her sex for three years.

Madam Adjoa, a mother of two, says she can no longer endure the torture, and sought the help of the Obra Show on Nhyira Fm.

“My husband has been acting weird and has denied me sex for years now. Although I have made all advances to initiate intimacy, he has been finding ways to reject me,” she lamented.

But the husband, Kwaku Duke said he cannot be blamed for putting his wife through the emotional stress.

“I have a problem with my wife, and that has made me abstain from her because she gives me problems only. I have no peace at home. She threatened to kill me with a knife and also cursed me to die with a river deity. How can I be with such a person even though I have not divorced? Will not have intercourse with her,” the man told Obra.

Show host, Mama Effe Amanor, mediated for peace to prevail between the couple.

The woman accepted her guilt and apologized as the man also accepted to resume his marital responsibilities.

To rekindle their love and to end the sex drought, Mama Effe opted to sponsor a reunion honeymoon for the couple at a hotel.

The couple were advised to work in unity to cater for their children while working on their weaknesses for their marriage to progress.
