GAF begins 2024 recruitment; public urged to report fraud

-

The Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) has officially commenced its 2024 recruitment process for the Regular Career Officer Course and Short Service Commission Officers.

In a public notice regarding enlistment into the Ghana Military Academy, GAF stressed that it does not collaborate with intermediaries or charge any fees for recruitment.

The public is encouraged to report anyone posing as an intermediary or requesting payments to assist candidates.

“The Ghana Armed Forces further wishes to clarify that individuals posing as middlemen, intermediaries, or agents demanding payment to assist candidates should be reported to the nearest Military Installation or Police Station. Similarly, applicants who choose to pay these purported agents for assistance are equally guilty of participating in fraudulent activities.”

Interested applicants are directed to the Daily Graphic edition of Friday, September 13, 2024, available on Graphicnewsplus.com for complete details on the enlistment process.

Applicants are advised to steer clear of fraudulent recruitment platforms on social media. Scratch cards for the online application, priced at GH¢350.00, can be purchased at designated Ghana Post offices nationwide.

The online application portal opened on Friday, September 13, 2024, and candidates are encouraged to log in and apply.
