The Amenfi Central National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary candidate, Joana Cudjoe Gyan has supported 17 constituencies in the Western region with GH¢340,000.
Madam Cudjoe who is also the Western Regional patron of the women’s working committee presented GH¢20,000 to each of the Women Organisers of the 17 constituencies.
The donation is to cushion them in preparations for December 7 in recognition of the crucial role women play in the party’s organization, especially during elections.
Additionally, she presented GH¢100,000 to the Regional Women’s Organiser, Gladys Egyir and GH¢30,000 each to her two deputies, bringing the total donation to GH¢500,000.
The candidate presented the money to Madam Egyir and the Deputy Western Regional treasurer, Ms Mirian Plange-Kwofie, in her office.
She emphasized the importance of unity and called on all party supporters to put aside their differences and work towards a common goal.
She urged everyone to join the campaign to ensure victory for the John Dramani Mahama and Jane Naana Opoku Agyeman ticket, as well as all 17 NDC parliamentary candidates in the Western Region.
