An independent parliamentary aspirant in the Kwahu Afram Plains North Constituency, Lawyer Kpeli Worlase, has boldly stated that he will capture the Kwahu Afram Plains North seat from the NDC with over 65% of the vote due to the current situation on the ground.
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) is at risk of losing one of its strongholds in the Eastern Region, as Lawyer Kpeli Worlase has vowed to win the Kwahu Afram Plains North seat with over 65% of the vote.
“I will capture the Kwahu Afram Plains North seat from the NDC with over 65% of the vote due to the current situation on the ground.”
He added that, the constituency has been deprived of developmental projects due to the poor performance of the incumbent MP.
Worlase made this declaration after filing his nomination forms at the district Electoral Commission’s office to contest for MP in the upcoming general elections.
He promised to revive and boost the agricultural and economic activities in Kwahu Afram Plains if elected, emphasizing that the area is gradually losing its status as the food basket of the country.
“I am committed to reviving and boosting the agricultural and economic activities in Kwahu Afram Plains if elected. Kwahu Afram Plains is gradually losing its status as the food basket of the country, and I intend to restore that glory when given the mandate” he said.
