The Black Stars of Ghana are set to continue their campaign in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers with a crucial doubleheader against Sudan in October.
The four-time African champions began their qualifying journey with a 1-0 home loss to Angola at Baba Yara Stadium last Thursday.
Their subsequent attempt to secure points against Niger ended in a 1-1 draw on Monday at Stade Municipal de Berkane.
These results have placed the Black Stars in 3rd position with just one point.
They will look to improve their standing when they face Sudan in October, with matches scheduled at Baba Yara Stadium on October 12 and at Al-Merrikh Stadium on October 15.
Sudan, under the guidance of former Black Stars coach Kwesi Appiah, has been in strong form, winning five out of six games so far.
Otto Addo and his team will be aiming for a positive outcome in these upcoming fixtures.
