The Ghana Police Service (GPS) has denied allegations that it is seeking to arrest Malik Basintale, the Deputy Communications Director of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).

These allegations, which have been circulating on social media, suggest that Malik Basintale has been declared wanted by the Police.

In a statement released on Thursday, the police firmly stated, “We wish to categorically state that the claim is false.”

The Police Service also urged the public to disregard the false claim and treat it with the contempt it deserves.
