Chairperson of the Ghana Domain Name Registry, Rev. Dr. Nanayaa Owusu-Prempeh, who gave the keynote address at the @GhanaYouthIGF has issued a stark warning to the youth at the ongoing Ghana Internet Governance Forum (Ghana IGF): “Ignore AI at your peril.”

In a passionate address, she emphasized the pivotal role Artificial Intelligence (AI) plays in shaping the future of technology, cautioning that those who fail to adapt will be left behind.

This year’s Ghana IGF, themed “Empowering Sustainable Development for Our Digital Future,” brought together experts and stakeholders to explore the transformative power of digitalization in driving growth and development across Ghana.

The forum delved into pressing issues, including bridging the digital divide, combating disinformation, and addressing internet shutdowns during political elections.

Rev. Dr. Owusu-Prempeh’s words served as a clarion call to the youth, urging them to embrace AI and leverage its potential to create a brighter, more sustainable future.

She emphasized that, AI is no longer a distant prospect, but a present reality that demands attention and action.
