Big Brother Naija star, Francisca Owumi, has sadly passed away following a brief illness.
Her family confirmed the news on social media on August 29, 2024, sharing her photos with the heartfelt caption, “A daughter and sister. May her soul rest in peace, Amen.”
Francisca was the first runner-up on the inaugural season of Big Brother Nigeria in 2006, where she gained popularity for her vibrant dance moves.
She shared the stage with notable housemates like Katung Aduwak, the winner of the season, and Ebuka Obi-Uchendu.
After her time on the reality show, Francisca briefly ventured into the Nigerian music industry, releasing two singles titled “Gbadun You” and “Diva.”
Her untimely death has left fans and loved ones mourning her loss.
