NDC delegation visits Jomoro MP after accident [Photos]

National Democratic Congress (NDC) members from the Jomoro constituency have visited their Member of Parliament (MP), Dorcas Affo-Toffey following a ghastly accident.

The eight-member delegation, led by the Constituency Chairman, Anthony Armah Benle travelled from Nzema to Accra to see Madam Affo-Toffey on August 31, 2024.

The lawmaker and her entourage narrowly escaped a serious accident at Komenda Junction on the Takoradi-Cape Coast-Accra Highway on Thursday.

The accident occurred when the team were returning to Accra after launching her campaign at Half Assini.

Taking to Facebook, Madam Affo-Toffey expressed appreciation to the delegation who she said arrived at her home as early as 5: am.

She acknowledged that, the heartfelt wishes following the unfortunate accident were a comfort to her.

“They shared how it had been a restless time for them and the entire constituency, with phone calls and concern spreading as they anxiously awaited news of my condition.

“Their determination to see me in person and the relief we all felt being together again is something I will cherish,” she appreciated.

The MP was confident the delegation can return to constituents with the reassuring news that all the occupants of her vehicle are all well.

“I am deeply grateful for their care and compassion, and I thank our Heavenly Father for guiding and uniting us in these challenging times,” she said.
