An independent candidate, Samuel Kwame Denoo has emerged in the Amasaman constituency, poised to win the seat in the December 7 election.
Samuel Denoo, who is the founder and leader of Solution Centre and Herbal is optimistic he has fresh ideas and perspectives that bring the needed development to the constituency.
According to him, he is not a politician but a servant who is tired of seeing his people suffer, hence, the determination to inspire change.
Bishop Denoo has said since the inception of the constituency, power has alternated between the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
But it is time for change and he is therefore the best candidate to break the NDC and NPP’s duopoly.
The Amasaman seat is currently being held by the NPP with Akwasi Afrifa-Mensa as the MP.
However, after losing the NPP primaries in January 28, the December 7 competition will be a fierce competition between Kassim Yahya who defeated Owusu-Afrifa and the NDC’s Sedem Afenyo.
But Bishop Senoo is optimistic the constituents will reward him massively to succeed the incumbent MP and drive change.
