The Ghana Police Service (GPS) has detained a man suspected of damaging a monument and several signposts at the Airport Roundabout in Accra.

The individual, Newwel Gavu, is now in Police custody awaiting prosecution.

In a brief statement released on Saturday, the Police praised the vigilance of the public and Airport security, which contributed to the suspect’s arrest.
