100 Days to Elections Campaign Launch: NPP committed to peace and stability – Justin Kodua [Audio]

-

General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Justin Kodua Frimpong, has assured of the party’s commitment to maintaining the country’s peace and stability.

According to him, the NPP, having worked for years to ensure national stability, will not engage in any activities that could undermine it.

“The NPP stands for peace and admires the political stability that we have in this country and will never at any point in time do anything to defeat and destroy the peace and stability that we are enjoying as a country,” he stated.

He made this known during an interview with Osei Bonsu on Adom TV, as part of Adom Brands’ 100 Days to Elections countdown launch.

Discussing the party’s prospects, Mr. Frimpong Kodua disclosed the NPP’s historical performance and current preparations.

He noted that since 2000, it has been challenging for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to win elections, with NPP winning elections with significant margins.

“When we win, the margin is big, and the NDC’s margin is small,” he said.

The NPP scribe acknowledged internal challenges, such as voter apathy within the party, but expressed confidence in overcoming them.

“Our only problem is apathy in the party, which I am working on. We are convinced that if we get core NPP members to vote, we will win the election,” he added.

Mr. Frimpong Kodua therefore assured that the NPP is well-prepared and committed to conducting a peaceful campaign.

“The NPP won’t cause mayhem in the 2024 election,” he said. He highlighted the party’s track record of offering solutions and advocating for positive changes in every election cycle. “We have tasted power both in opposition and in power. Whatever the outcome will be, we won’t cause mayhem,” he affirmed.

He also urged NPP supporters to remain steadfast as the party prepares for the upcoming election.
