Leicester City boss eulogizes Jordan Ayew after netting first goal against Tranmere

Leicester City manager, Steve Cooper has praised Ghana international, Jordan Ayew following his first goal for the club.

Ayew scored in Leicester’s 4-0 victory over Tranmere in the EFL Cup on Tuesday night at the King Power Stadium.

In his post-match comments, Cooper emphasized the significance of Ayew’s goal.

“It was a crucial moment in the match. We needed our attacking players to step up, and Jordan did just that. He had a positive impact, scored, and played the right amount of minutes. It’s exactly what we would have hoped for,” Cooper said.

He continued, “Jordan brings a wealth of experience and is eager to make a mark for us in the Premier League. He was very enthusiastic about joining us, and we’re excited to integrate him into our plans. We’ll rely on him and all our players as we move forward.”

Following his goal-scoring debut for Leicester, Ayew will be looking to secure a spot in the squad for their upcoming Premier League match against Aston Villa at the King Power Stadium on Saturday.
