Mahama/NDC will cancel free SHS, reject them – Napo cautions

-

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) running mate, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, has cautioned Ghanaians not to vote the National Democratic Congress (NDC) back into power, as they may attempt to cancel the free SHS policy.

Speaking at a community engagement in Nyinahin, Atwima Mponua Constituency, Ashanti Region, Dr. Opoku Prempeh stated that no political party in Ghana has discredited the Free SHS policy more than the NDC.

He noted that, former President Mahama had declared he would not invest 2 billion cedis in Free SHS, suggesting that such a person cannot be trusted to improve the policy.

Dr. Opoku Prempeh also reminded the community of the developmental projects undertaken by the NPP in the area and appealed for their support in giving the party another chance.

The chief of Nyinahin, Nana Amampene Boateng Twum II, acknowledged the NPP’s contributions to the area’s development and pledged his support and prayers for the NPP ticket.
