General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Fifi Kwetey, has criticised the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) over the state of the economy.
According to him, the NPP inherited a strong and sound economy from the erstwhile NDC administration.
Unfortunately, the Akufo-Addo-Bawumia left administration has completely destroyed the economy, citing two oil fields and a sound manufacturing sector, among others.
The former Ketu South MP and former Deputy Finance Minister made these remarks at the NDC manifesto launch in Winneba on Saturday.
In this regard, Mr Kwetey has entreated Ghanaians to vote for the NDC flagbearer, John Mahama on December 7, stating the NDC’s manifesto is anchored on sound principles and truth.
He emphasised the commitment of the next NDC administration to reset the economy and build the Ghana citizens want.
“When you say one village one dam and you know you do not have the capacity that is deception. Our policies are anchored on principles, the principle of respect for the people. We left behind a manufacturing sector that was wrong, two oil fields, a strong cocoa sector,” he stated.
